st oswald's, widford

When do you meet?

Fourth Sunday of the month from April-September at 18:00 for Evening Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer.

St Olwald's is a tiny church in Widford built on the site of an earlier Roman villa or temple. The building is mainly 13th Century with remnants of an 11th Century Saxon or Norman building.  Once surrounded by a medieval village, it now stands alone among fields. The church is usually open to visitors throughout the year during daylight hours.

Please note that access to St Oswalds is by foot only.
